2019 was a quite eventful year (at times, a bit too much) for me but I succeeded in spending more time doing what I like but had neglected to do for the past 10 or so years: more introspection and drawing more stuff.

The other significant change I've experienced this year is that I am starting to feel comfortable with the idea of not feeling apologetic about how I work :) I was feeling and behaving excessively apologetic for most of my life - in both relationships and in work, and it feels great to take that off my shoulders.

If you have been taking a peek at the portfolio you will notice that more things are happening! As a warm-up for an upcoming project (which I hopefully will have enough time management skills to get myself to do from January-February 2020... it is a rough time because it is the beginning of spring term and my work load does tend to get insane), I decided to make cartoon summaries of the 34 themes in CliftonStrengths (I chose this topic because I got a chance to do the strengths assessment not too long ago and I thought the results were thought provoking). It's a way for me to 1) examine each theme more carefully and learn about them and 2) to practice packing ideas and concepts into a simple illustration.

​Once I complete all 34 of them I might attempt to organize them and make it into one big diagram or something. We'll see what happens.
